Junior Full Stack Developer – eCommerce

FactoryPure is one of the fastest-growing eCommerce companies in the United States, achieving $37m in revenue with just 14 team members in 2022. We specialize in generators for backup power, stoves for decentralized heating, and other heavy equipment for homes and small businesses (plus a long tail of other categories) and are seeking a junior developer to assist in maintaining and enhancing our Shopify store.

You will report directly to the Director of Design and Development and collaborate with others across the team to understand the customer and product use cases so that you can implement A/B testing, cross-selling, and design enhancements for CRO and UX. You will execute bug fixes, style updates, and new feature implementation across our entire stack, leveraging your understanding of JavaScript and how the web works to maintain and improve both frontend and backend codebases.

This is a hybrid role based in our brand new office in San Antonio, TX with flexibility for some remote work following an onboarding period.

Logistics and Comp:

● $50-75k annually

Qualifications:

● 1-3 years of experience designing and developing web applications

● Fluidity with JavaScript and JS environments / frameworks (node.js, React, ExpressJS)

● Stellar HTML and CSS ability, a keen eye for design, and high attention to detail

● Ability to create pixel perfect websites from Figma design files

● Basic knowledge of SQL including the ability to perform simple CRUD operations in MySQL

● Comfortable working with git and github

● Experience with AWS or another cloud platform a plus

● Experience with templating languages, particularly Liquid, a plus

● Keeps up to date with latest development techniques, tools, and innovations; intellectually curious with ability to self-organize and take initiative to build the business

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
